Buyer Evaluations
This vent deflector is overpriced and made of flimsy plastic but it does what it is developed to do. I use it underneath a sofa and it does a great job of diverting the air from the floor vent underneath to the middle of the area. The deflector is around 1 1/2 inches tall so it should certainly fit readily beneath most sofas.
when i know this is meant for floor vents, i bought it for a wall vent, hoping i could screw or tape it to the wall. i was shocked that it was fairly thin plastic. then again, that does make it lighter and less difficult to maneuver, so i assume it would almost certainly get the job performed just fine if implemented on the floor, as extended as the air coming out of the vent isn't so robust that it blows it out of spot. i ended up opting to cover the vent with a magnetic strip, which was a private preference and didn't have anything to do with this item. i consider it's worth a shot. just know that if you want to secure it to the floor, you will most most likely need to use tape.
